This woman is amazing. I've been watching the Mormon Messages today, just out of habit of loving them, and even though I've seen some of these a few times, they never seem to leave me unaltered. This woman survived a plane crash that literally destroyed her face, but she continues to stand strong as a testament that with the Lord, anything is possible and as I heard once, "If got brought me to it, He can get me through it."

This other one is clip that made me break down in tears. This man is absolutely incredible and a HUGE example of the kind of person I want to be someday. I know myself well enough to admit that I would not come to that point of being so forgiving for a very very very long time...He's such an example of what Christ and the Atonement can help get me through. I'm so thankful he shared his story....

A "primary" reason I had a great Sunday!!

Oh my gosh! I got to teach the little Sunbeams today and they were just absolutely ADORABLE! I forgot how cute little kids are when they are learning new things!! They were singing in primary and wanted to volunteer for EVERYTHING and the leaders kept saying "Okay, if you want to be called on, you have to be reverent." so they'd compose themselves immediately but some would still whisper "Pick me!" soo quietly. It was so cute. Gosh I love little kids. And I think the Sunbeams were perfect for me to teach because they are very honest and not judgmental and love to tell you everything about their lives and themselves. If I asked them a question, they'd try so hard to answer. I asked what they liked to pray for (our lesson was on prayer) and got a hundred different answers, from how they love to pray for their families to whales and dolphins. It was so sweet. I LOVE teaching little kids and trying to be an influence. I hope I get called to be in the primary or something someday! Not now, of course, but someday. It was so much fun. Thank goodness for Rachel though. She was taking them on "potty" breaks and for drinks and even cleaned up the piles of squished Goldfish crackers from snack time. It's a lot to handle all at once, I won't lie. So I don't blame her for saying "I don't think I'm cut out for this." But it was so so cute to see all the little adorable kiddies excited to learn...and color...and eat. Haha Gosh. I should say a prayer about how thankful I am for them!!
